雅思作文的introduction應(yīng)包含三個要素:
- 告知讀者文章的scope,你可以通過paraphase(改述)作文題目來實現(xiàn)。
- 確定論點。這個點可以融進"告知讀者文章的scope"部分。
- 意圖或觀點(或兩者兼有)句,這句話通常也叫"論題陳述"句。
今天我們通過幾個例子來看看怎么改述雅思大作文的題目。
我推薦以下3種方法:
- 改詞性。你想要改述的詞有名詞/形容詞/動詞詞性嗎?如果你找不到這個詞的近義詞,那就試試這個詞的其它詞性。舉個例子:creative可以改成creativity;imagination可以改成imaginative。
- 找近義詞。改寫的常見方法是用同義詞替代。在備考的時候,準備一些高頻詞匯的近義詞并牢記。比如,should的同義詞ought to,children的同義詞youngsters。需要注意的是,有的詞很難找到同義詞,比如artist,再比如competitive。在實在找不到同義詞的情況下,可以不用改寫這個詞。
- 改句子結(jié)構(gòu)。比如把主動式改成被動式,反之亦然;或者改句子里的從句結(jié)構(gòu)。簡單句,復(fù)雜句,和復(fù)合句相結(jié)合,句子類型和句子長度要靈活多變,這樣你的文章也會比較自然。
以下舉幾個雅思大作文題目的改述例子(特別注意加粗部分):
話題: Urbanization
題目:Many small town center shops are running out of business because rural residents tend to go shopping in big city stores. To what extent do the disadvantages of this development outweigh the advantages?
改述:The trend of urbanization is causing many rural town businesses to go bankrupt or lose business, as shoppers prefer to buy their products in large department stores and shopping malls.
題目:In many countries, more money is being spent on transport systems in the cities. In contrast, very little is spent in rural areas. What are the effects of this? What can be done to solve this problem?
改述:There seems to be a general trend these days for governments to invest heavily in urban public transport, while investment in non-urban community transport is lacking.
話題:Environment
題目:Scientists have been warning for many years about environmental protection and that we should limit the use of energy in our daily lives. What are the reasons for this? How to encourage people to take an interest towards environment protection?
改述:The last few decades have seen a prolific increase in scientific literature about the dangers of environmental degradation and so encourage people to reduce their energy use.
話題:Gender issues
題目:Some people think that men are naturally more competitive than women. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
改述:It has been commonly assumed by many that males are instinctively more competitive than females.
話題:Work
題目:The world of work is changing rapidly. Working conditions today are not the same as before and people no longer rely on taking one job for life. Describe the possible causes and give suggestions on how people should prepare for work in the future.
改述:Over the last few decades, the work environment has been radically changing and as such, so has the concept of having just a single career or line of work in one's life.
寫作備考不要懶,要真的去寫,去表達自己的觀點、想法,哪怕沒有那么華麗的辭藻。寫完之后要仔細分析、認真總結(jié)。
